Hi bloggers! I hope they are the best, next you will read a little about me, to be honest i have no idea where to start, but i guess i will start from basic things.
Mi name is Renato Alvarado, i was born in Talagante, Chile on January 30, 2002,I lived a long part of my life in Talagante, about 15 or 16 years of my life, until I made the decision to move to Santiago. I have 2 brothers, one is called Barbara, she is 28 years old and is a civil engineer in construction, and my brother, who lives with my mother (I forgot to say that i currently live with my father) in Miami, he is 17 years old and loves to play League of Legends like me haha, and I'm a architecture student of the Universidad de Chile since 2020.
I entered at the Universidad de Chile when i was 17 years old, i still couldn't believe, but i studied a lot for the university admission tests, so in that way it was worth it (to be honest, the truth of things is that only 30% of what i learned i apply in college).
I chose to study architecture for two main reasons, the first is that i was not very clear about what to study and that is where my pretty sister came into action, which helped me to choose a career, and two, because i really like art and i love to draw, i think that the capacity of being able to express things through a pencil is the most beautiful thing that i have encountered in life.
I think that in the first months of my career i fell instantly in love, to the point of dedicating more time to studies than to my own life. I'm searching to be a great architect, known worldwide or anything like that, rather, i want to solve problems through architecture, because it's beautiful; the architecture implies everything, it compresses everything: arts, science, history. It opens your eyes and develops a kind of sensitivity to the world that few can do.
And here i have a small personal mental problem and i would like to find an answer to it soon about, Is architecture an art? Or rather, can the architect be considered an artist? These questions are constantly eating my head, but I have a more or less an answer, basically it is resumed in that architecture is an art, but being art it is also an act of social conscience, because you are making buildings for all kinds of people who give them shelter, who make them feel loved and accepted.
That's my answer, and this is the end, thank's all for read my blog! See you next time :P
