ARCHITECTURAL SENSITIVITY

Throughout the semester i have been increasingly surprised by the incredible things that architecture can give you, i think i would definitely stay with the concept of "architectural sensitivity"

Throughout my life i have always wanted to feel like an artist, someone who can help the world with his skills, being able to help others is the best feeling of all, it makes me happy to think that architecture gives me this tool, where it could even revolutionize an entire society by applying in the most rigorous way each of the architectural elements that human beings have discovered.

I have probably said it in a previous blog but it strikes me deeply that an inherent element can feel so alive, like if it had life.

I think that all people should know this art, understand it and learn to value it, not simply as a visual piece or worse, not see it as something commercial, which will generate income and here i am joining into a topic which is a problem today, because let's be honest, most commercial buildings, hospitals and police buildings are worse than expected and even when they are pleasing to the eye, this does not mean that they have been designed to respond to the problems. human needs. If you don't believe me, check this article in the New York times about Santiago Calatrava's buildings.

Architecture is not for that, it is not for profit or to see it as a decorative element for the city, IT IS TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE.

Many of the important monumental pieces that we know today are the result of asking ourselves how we want people to feel, before thinking about what we want them to do.

I hope in the near future to be able to make people happy, to excite them with my architecture.
