HOW CAN ARCHITECTURE MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE

To be honest this is one of the topics that i love to talk about, i will try to be brief as possible since the university works is touching my heels hahaha (not kidding, i laugh so as not to cry)

From my point of view, architecture definitely has the power to change the world, change people, generate relationships, it has everything, and that is why i am happy to express that.

For example: placing habitable buildings in a commercial sector would considerably increase the economic of that sector, because the social web is necessary for a commercial area, without people there is no one to buy, without shopping there is no money, even a 10 year old child could understand it, but like that there are hundreds of examples for each instance, i would be writing pages and pages describing what architecture is capable of doing, but honestly, this doesn't satisfies me at all. There are architects who say that you always have to do big things like make a building, which of course has a merit being able to build in the world, but on the contrary, i am in search of the small things, and that like the butterfly effect that with a small action triggers a series of big things, i think you can start the other way around, from these little moments.

I believe, as i mentioned in the previous paragraph that i would love to contribute by making architecture in this way, rescuing the small moments of people, such as: why instead of building someone's house and then adapting the elements to that form of home, can't i do it the other way around? Why not start from those small elements of the house in order to adapt the house to these elements?

Maybe it would be interesting to work in an architectural design company, where i can create things to make better people's day.

Finally answering the question: What makes your major something that contributes to the world's benefit?

I would say that everything, since as i said before, architecture includes everything, "because architecture, as well as being art is an act of social conscience, because you're making buildings for all kind of people that give them shelter, make them feel loved and accepted "
